Today announced the winners of the second edition of the only Italian award dedicated to the licensing industry.
On the eve of the 11th edition of the Bologna Licensing Trade Fair, the organizers announced the winners of the 2nd Bologna Licensing Award, the only Italian prize addressed to the licensing industry and to the best programme development and licensed projects done in Italy.
Exhibitors sent over 80 submissions, almost three times higher than the 2017 registrations, with a very high quality level of the projects presented, sowing a higher standard and extraordinary products development.
News 2018: a focus on the world of fashion, both child and adult, in order to strengthen the strategic partnership with the leading fashion trade event organizer, Pitti Immagine.
To judge the submissions was an extraordinary jury composed of: Luca Milano, Deputy Director of Rai Ragazzi; Paolo Taverna, General Manager Assogiocattoli; Ivan Colecchia, General Director of Kidz Global Europe; Alessandro Enriquez, Fashion Designer; Bernd Conrad, Founder Conrad Enterprises.

CATEGORY KIDS – Brand MIRACULOUS, represented in Italy by PLANETA JUNIOR
TEENS CATEGORY – Brand MAGGIE & BIANCA FASHION FRIENDS, a brand of RAINBOW
ADULT CATEGORY – Brand HELLO KITTY, a SANRIO brand for the GCDS project
SPECIAL AWARDS
RETAIL AWARD – Brand SUPER WINGS, represented in Italy by PLANETA JUNIOR for CHICCO ARTSANA retail project
FASHION KIDS – Brand PARENTAL ADVISORY, represented in Italy by CPLG, for ITALIAN BRANDS project
FASHION ADULT – Brand PINK PANTHER, represented in Italy by CPLG for ICEBERG project
PROPERTY OF THE YEAR – Brand PJ MASKS, represented in Italy by ETS STUDIOS
The award ceremony is planned on March 26th at 6.30pm in the evocative location of Palazzo d’Accursio, in the heart of Bologna.
The winners will exhibit their products at the entrance to the Bologna Licensing Trade Fair, in a dedicated and highly visible exhibition area, for all the period of the show.
